Since 1962, WHASHIN IND has been following one path under the motto of ‘Honest and Trust.’ The founder’s pioneering spirit (‘building easy-to-work environments’) has been the groundwork for WHASHIN to evolve into a reliable and trusted enterprise. We promise to keep doing our best to ensure high-quality products and services with passion and a challenging spirit.

Stapler & staple production since 1962
During the 1960s, when the five-year national economic development plan was being developed, WHASHIN IND started to produce staples and staplers in 1962 to provide more convenient working environments. Since then, we have played a pivotal role in the stationery industry.
Improvements in working environments
During the 1970-80s, when the national economy was rapidly developing, and the number of people working for big businesses, as well as for small & mid-sized enterprises was rising, we took the initiative in improving working environments. We built new manufacturing plants in various regions, such as Bucheon (Gyeonggi-do) and Seoul (Magok-dong, Gangseo-gu), and facilitated the local economy, making a significant contribution to the improvement of working environments.

Continued efforts to reach perfection
To ensure high quality and provide more advanced products, we make our best efforts throughout our manufacturing processes, from acquiring raw material to finished goods packaging. If a better idea or material arises, we are not afraid to apply it to current products. We keep moving forward every moment to reach perfection.

Keep growing and evolving through change and innovation
Since the development and release of staple 26/6 in 1962, we have continuously worked hard for qualitative improvements in working environments, focusing on the stationery businesses. We target to keep moving forward through the adoption of IT and electrical & electronic technology and the development of new materials and products.
We promise that we make our best efforts to grow into a global leader through the best products and services, which meet diverse customer needs, through various attempts to transform conventional ways in the stationery industry.

Growing into a global enterprise
Ever since the acquisition of a trade license in 1988, we have spread Korean stationery's excellence around the world. In the first export year, in 1988, we were awarded the US 3.4 Million Dollar Export Tower. Since then, we have devoted all of our time and energy to export. As a result, we now distribute products to nearly 30 countries and keep working hard to expand overseas markets further.
